Meet Bruce Nemovitz

Bruce Nemovitz has been a Realtor in the Milwaukee area for more than thirty-five years. When he started in the residential real estate business, there was no acknowledgement of the special needs of older adults who have lived in their homes for many years. He is in expert in helping senior parents moving into a different lifestyle.

Since then, education has caught up with senior’s special needs, and Bruce has taken advantage of the specialized certification. His training as a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), coupled with his 20 years of specialized experience has allowed Bruce to focus his business on the needs of seniors and their families when moving from their long-time homes. In addition, Bruce started a group for Realtors (REAL) from all companies to discuss current topics and issues of the day and to exchange ideas and solutions to better serve the public.

Bruce has shared his experience and expertise in two books and a series of articles. His first book, Moving in the Right Direction™: A Senior’s Guide to Moving and Downsizing, is a handy reference for seniors while their families read Bruce’s Guiding Our Parents in the Right Direction: Practical Advice about Seniors Moving from the Home They Love. As a contributor to 50 Plus magazine for over ten years, Bruce has also written over 150 articles covering just about every aspect of the moving process for seniors, and helping seniors moving into a new lifestyle.

Bruce is a featured speaker throughout the Milwaukee-Metro area with his talks focusing on issues facing seniors and their children. Passion permeates everything Bruce does, and he especially pours his heart into helping and guiding youth as a longtime member of the Optimist Club and as a Big Brother. His other outside interests include playing the guitar and entertaining others through his music.

Bruce’s wife of 49 years, Jeanne, joins him in their real estate business. In addition to her many traditional real estate responsibilities, Jeanne provides in-depth guidance to family members as they make their way through the numerous challenges which accompany the decision to move and the many steps required to smoothly make that move. Jeanne’s years of experience, coupled with her wealth of compassion and calming nature guides and supports the entire family all along the way.

Bruce and Jeanne have two daughters, seven grandchildren, and incredible long-time loving friends.

Erica is a fully licensed Realtor® and the Managing Partner of Bruce’s Team. Her Current roles include listing/selling real estate, and working administratively for Bruce and Jeanne Nemovitz. This includes processing listings, closings, helping to be sure that all contingencies are met after an offer is accepted, and marketing. She also plays a large role in organizing and facilitating Bruce’s Teams’ bi-annual “Moving in the Right Direction” Seminar at the Boerner Botanical Gardens. Erica also specializes in outreach to both clients as well as senior living communities. Erica’s most important role on the team is her client outreach. She understands that this is much more than just a physical move, and that the process can also be very emotional. When Erica calls her senior clients, she is not only checking to make sure that the transaction is on track, but also that her clients are feeling comfortable with the process emotionally.
